NASG Name to Carry on as Product Brand for Transportation Specialty Glass
WORTHINGTON, OH (JUNE 14, 2021) – Custom Glass Solutions, LLC (“CGS”), a leading glass manufacturer focused on transportation applications, announced a name change for NASG Holdings, Inc., which CGS acquired in 2019. While the NASG name will carry on as a product brand – primarily for transparent armor, heavy and light rail, framed / unframed applications – the facility in Trumbauersville, PA, is now formally Custom Glass Solutions Trumbauersville, LLC.
“While we have multiple business units, we operate as one company and we are excited to reemphasize our commitment to our colleagues in Trumbauersville,” said Neale Yeomans, Chief Executive Officer at CGS. “The NASG brand has a long and storied history and we will preserve it by using it for certain product applications.”
Established in 1965, the Trumbauersville facility produces a full portfolio of glass products for transportation applications with a focus on framed assemblies for rail, armored vehicles, commercial vehicles and more. CGS Trumbauersville glass products include bullet-resistant glass, acoustic glass, anti-vandal glass, NVH reduction glass and metro glass. As one of the largest safety and security glass producers in the country, CGS serves global customers with high-performance, transparent armor systems, manufactured mostly in Trumbauersville.
Yeomans said it’s business as usual for customers and suppliers. “While the name on the building is changing, the commitment to our customers and suppliers is not,” he said. “Both the CGS and NASG brands are synonymous with high-quality glass and excellent service and we are unifying that under the Custom Glass Solutions name while maintaining NASG’s brand equity for certain product applications.”
